As of May 8 2024, Coombs is still looking for Activate (K-5) day camp instructors and flex instructors to help with both Activate and short Engage backpacking trips.

Activate Day Camp Instructor:

Activate Summer Instructors work in pairs and with the Program Manager to plan and lead outdoor activities for groups of 12 elementary school participants. Activities include hiking in Grand Teton National Park, paddle boarding, swimming, rafting, working with local partners, and more!

Backpacking the Teton Crest Trail, 2023

Engage Trip Leader:

Engage Instructors lead backpacking-based youth programs for local kids in the public lands surrounding Jackson, WY. Instructors co-lead 10-12 middle and high school participants on 2-8 night trips, which will include backpacking, car camping, boating, and other outdoor activities. Some weeks, Engage instructors may co-lead specialized day camps which will include mountain biking, kayaking, rafting, climbing and swimming. Please read the detailed job descriptions below.
